On Jan 13th             Terminal B passed in the general inspection of it.

On Jan 15th             Terminal B was put into use formally.

On Jan 16th             Singapore Airlines opened its flight from Singapore to Shenzhen

On Jan 18th              Australia Airlines opened its chartered flight from Shenzhen via Macao to Taipei.

In January                    Shenzhen Airport participated in the Reconstructing Airliners Programme initiated by CAAC, and won the Excellence Award in the group with the accumulated number of passengers between 5,000,000 and 10,000,000 in 2003. 

On Mar 9th               the flight from Shenzhen via Macao to Taipei was opened

On April 20th             the title of the company became “Shenzhen Airport (Group) Co. Ltd”

In April                     the number of international passengers passing through Shenzhen Airport within a single month break through 100,000 for the first time.

On May 13th             at Wuzhou Guest House, Shenzhen Airport signed the contract with Lufthansa from Germany concerning the establishment of the International Freight House Co. Ltd of Shenzhen Airport in a join venture way.

On May 29th            Shandong Airlines opened its flight from Jinan via Shenzhen to Singapore

From June 10th to June 11th     the Policy & Legislation Division of CAAC held a symposium concerning the “Administrative Regulation for Civil Airport” at our airport.

On July 8th              the logistics park began its operation.

On Sept. 1st            the International Freight House Co. Ltd cooperating with Lufthansa from Germany was founded.

On Sept. 21st          the Civil Aviation Business Summit was held at Shenzhen Airport for the first time.

On Oct 31st           Air China opened its flight from Shenzhen via Shanghai to Osaka

On Nov 18th          Comprehensive First-Aid Drill was performed

On Nov. 22nd          the Investigation and Survey Group of CPPCC inspected Shenzhen Airport.

On Dec 8th            the accumulation of number of passenger via the harbour of Shenzhen Airport broke through 1,000,000 and the harbour held a celebration ceremony for this.

On Dec 31st          the Airfield Formation office for the expansion of the aviation area of Shenzhen Airport was founded.
