1.(史密斯先生的航班延误了,在机场餐厅给他提供午餐。)
A: Good morning, sir. What can I do for you?
B: Good morning, I’m wondering if my flight has been delayed.
A: What’s your flight number?
B: Flight CA945 to Karachi.
A: I’m sorry to tell you that your flight has been delayed due to mechanical difficulties.
B: What’s the extent of the delay?
A:Maybe about 3 hours.
B: So the new departure time will probably be two o’clock in the afternoon.
A: That’s right.
B: Well.
A: I’m sorry I’d like to apologize for the inconveniences caused by this delay and we’ll offer you lunch in the airport restaurant. Please present the voucher to the waiter there.
B: Where is the restaurant?
A: Walk out of this building and turn left. Keep walking for three minutes and you will see a red house. That’s the restaurant.
B: Thank you very much.

A:早上好,先生。能为您效劳吗?

A: That’s right. Your flight has been delayed.
B: Dou you know why it has been delayed?
A: Oh, yes, the delay is due to engine trouble.
B: How long will the delay last?
A: Probably more than 2 hours.
B: Oh, that’s too bad. Course I’m gonna to miss my connecting flight. I’m supposed to catch an American Airlines flight to Miami at 7:25. Is there another flight available?
A: Yes. The flight leaves in an hour.
B: Could you get me on that flight?
A: I’ll check to see if there’s any space left.
B: Thank you very much.

A:下午好,先生。
B: 下午好。我刚听到广播,我乘坐的航班已经延误了。
A:您的航班号是多少?
