Shenzhen Airport has recently addressed travelers’ practical needs by opening a new shower facility in the international departures area of Terminal 3 (T3). This addition completes the airport's shower service coverage in both departure and arrival zones, allowing passengers to refresh with a shower or change clothes before or after flights, ensuring they begin their journeys in optimal comfort.

The new shower facility is located near Gate 14 in the west wing of T3’s international departures area on the third floor. Designed with private, dry-wet separated stalls, it offers 24-hour hot water supply. Each unit includes a shower and changing area, luggage storage space, and a vanity zone equipped with a dressing table, mirror, and hairdryer. For added convenience, shelves and dedicated laundry bags are provided to meet passengers’ comprehensive grooming and changing needs. The facility is thoroughly cleaned and disinfected after each use, ensuring a private, safe, and hygienic environment for all passengers.

Given its location serving international passengers, staff managing the showers carry real-time translation devices to facilitate seamless communication with foreign travelers. Since its opening, the facility has operated in “24-hour busy mode,” serving an average of over 20 passengers daily.
