Departures

Please follow the signs in the terminal to the departures hall on the 4th floor or use the indoor navigation function of the Shenzhen Airport Mini Program in WeChat.

Due to variations in airline regulations, it is recommended that you arrive at the airport at least 2-3 hours in advance of your domestic flight to allow sufficient time for check-in.

Please present your boarding pass and valid ID to the agent at your airline’s counter at the domestic flight check-in islands (islands A-C and F-H) to go through check-in procedures and have your baggage checked. For regulations on baggage check, please click "Baggage Check Instructions".

It is recommended that you check in online in advance. You can also complete self-service check-in and self-service baggage check procedures in the departures hall.

To ensure flight safety, please cooperate with all security protocols regarding the body search and your carry-on baggage. For details, please click "Security Check Instructions".

After the security check, please take the escalator or elevator down to the domestic departures hall on the 3rd floor and go to your boarding gate (shown on the boarding pass or the FIDS:Flight Information Display System) to wait for your flight.

To ensure smooth boarding, please pay attention to the announcements or the boarding screen information. Under normal circumstances, the boarding gates for domestic flights will be closed 20 minutes before departure.
